Sleeping Hare Coaster

Approx 110mm Diameter, 10mm thick, wood.

This wooden coaster, showing a sleeping hare in foliage, is a 'bootlegged' piece. It's crafted from timber rescued from the discard pile – offcuts others had no use for. The goal: useful, charming items for homes.

Finishing it brings solid satisfaction; then I need space for the next project. Its true value is found when someone uses it. That gives the nearly-binned material a second chance, continuing its story in a new home.
